Prof. Dr. Claudia Brözel is Professor of Marketing and eCommerce in Tourism in the Sustainable Tourism Management program at the Eberswalde University of Applied Sciences (HNEE). She researches and teaches on the question of how sustainable travel can succeed.

In 2019, Prof. Brözel initiated the globally unique Social Entrepreneurship in Tourism competition, which builds on the UNWTO's 17 Development Goals and is now in its 4th year of successfully awarding and supporting innovative social entrepreneurs worldwide. Participants will be supported to develop products and services that pursue inclusive, sustainable or socially-just goals.
