The MIT has underlined once more that it is cutting edge. Since 1999 they are pursuing their Open Course Ware (OCW) project under which a vast range of MIT courses (reading lists, lecture notes, sometimes videos, etc.) are published online as Open Educational Resources (OER).
The following is a collection of MIT OCW offerings featuring interesting courses on entrepreneurship and related disciplines
Global Entrepreneurship Lab
Special Seminar in Management The Nuts and Bolts of Business Plans
Managing the Innovation Process
In relation to the last course I can wholeheartedly recommend Eric von Hippel’s book DEMOCRATIZING INNOVATION (fully available online @ http://web.mit.edu/evhippel/www/democ.htm). Also the video series is well worth watching:
- Video 1 (245Mb): Overview of the lead user process
- Video 2 (276Mb): Launching your lead user study
- Video 3 (300Mb): Interviewing methods for lead user project teams
- Video 4 (232Mb): Identifying emerging market needs
- Video 5 (257Mb): Identifying lead users
- Video 6 (360Mb): Developing solution concepts
